Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Install Manager to oversee Controls, Equipment, and Mechanical Installation delivery teams. You will align people, schedules, finances, safety, and customer commitments to ensure efficient project execution.

The role requires leadership across engineering, commissioning, and field resources, with focus on risk management and strong contractor relationships. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Seven+ years of progressively responsible project leadership in building construction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel based on team locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution and performance of installation delivery teams.
• Support revenue forecasting, billings, collections, and resource planning.
• Assign projects and coordinate engineering, commissioning, and mechanical resources.
• Manage installation scheduling, backlogs, and ship dates.
• Set goals and evaluate performance of direct reports.
• Recruit Project Team Leaders and Engineers and ensure standards are followed.
