Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Controls Project Manager for our HVAC division.

You will act as the on-site project leader, coordinating the full lifecycle of control systems projects from planning through closeout with a focus on technical execution and safety. You will manage hardware design, programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and project closeout, while maintaining strong customer relationships and controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Technical associate degree with field experience.
• Hands-on experience in design and commissioning of digital HVAC/building automation controls.
• Strong HVAC controls knowledge and customer communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in Windows and Excel for project administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead control systems projects from planning through closeout.
• Coordinate hardware design, system programming, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Direct subcontractors, installers, technicians, designers, and admins.
• Manage project financials: costs, billings, cash flow, profitability.
• Maintain customer communication and pursue change orders when needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and Johnson Controls standards.
