HVAC Installation Manager

Job Summary

The HVAC Install Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HVAC install department. Primary responsibility is to meet or exceed monthly gross margin dollar budget, and minimum quality standards. Duties include conducting monthly one-on-ones for each technician, weekly work-a-longs, structured weekly training, and zero-call reviews. Ensure pre and post installation checklists are signed on every installation to deliver minimum quality standards and 5-star reviews. Ensure JHA form is reviewed and signed on every installation job. Ensure 10am courtesy calls are conducted with each installation crew daily to improve jobsite efficiency. Work with Director of People to update staffing plan and ensure proper staffing to meet budget and customer expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform regular 1:1s with department staff to provide performance management, coaching, and career development.
• Review JHA forms and installation checklists for every installation to ensure minimal quality and customer satisfaction standards are met.
• Contribute to regular leadership meetings including daily huddle, weekly L10, monthly MOD call, andmonthly peoplemeeting.
• Develop a quarterly training plan and implement weekly training within the department. Coordinate with service managers totrain ontechnical knowledge.
• Perform weeklyride-a-longtwice per week for real-time coaching withinstallers.
• Coordinate customer concern process to ensure 100% satisfaction for every customer.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Fleet Manager to ensure monthly truck inspections and partial inventory counts are performed.
• Any and allother duties as assigned.
