Job summary

Champion Comfort Experts Heating & Cooling in North Carolina is seeking an HVAC Install Manager to lead our installation team and drive operational excellence. You will oversee residential and commercial installations, ensure quality workmanship, and coach technicians to high performance.

Requirements include a current H3-1 HVAC license in NC or SC, at least 3 years of residential installation experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• Current H3-1 HVAC license in NC or SC is required.
• At least 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience with diagnostic troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to train others and coach technicians.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Acceptable criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and perform quality and safety inspections on new installations.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and professional development to Installation Technicians.
• Partner with service, dispatch, warehouse and other departments to ensure timely service.
• Follow up on escalated customer disputes and provide resolutions.
• Plan, forecast, and coordinate installations; communicate goals to technicians.
• Foster a fun, nurturing culture and uphold company core values.
• Ensure safety topics are integrated into coaching, meetings, and training.

As the HVAC Install Manager, you'll oversee all residential and/or commercial HVAC installation operations, manage and develop a team of skilled installers, ensure quality workmanship, maintain safety and efficiency standards, and help drive customer satisfaction at every stage of the project.

Compensation:

• $80,000/yr + monthly bonus potential
• Additional $12,000 annual compensation for maintaining the required H3-1 HVAC license

What YOU Will Do:

• The HVAC Installation Manager facilitates and performs quality and safety inspections on new Installations. Troubleshoot, and resolve installation and start-up issues.
• Provide consistent and accurate feedback, encouragement, support, professional development, and coaching to Installation Technicians.
• The HVAC Installation Manager will partner with service, dispatch, warehouse, and other necessary departments to ensure timely and accurate service to customers in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Follow up and resolve escalated customer disputes/complaints, ensuring an effective and long-term resolution and provide daily feedback to HVAC Operations Manager.
• Plan, forecast, and coordinate Installations. Communicate clear goals and expectations to Installation Technicians.
• Help instill a fun and nurturing culture with Integrity Home SolutionCore Values.
• Ensure that safety topics are incorporated into one-to-one coaching conversations, weekly meetings, and training sessions. Monitor and act on trends involving Installation Technician callbacks and service opportunities.

What We Need From YOU:

• A current H3-1 HVAC license in North Carolina or South Carolina is required for consideration
• At least 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience with diagnostic troubleshooting and repair service, including air conditioning & heating systems.
• Must have the ability to train others.
• Must have valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
• Acceptable criminal background check
• A valid driver’s license (because we’re on the move!)
• Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus, but not required
