Job summary

HELP in Cincinnati is seeking a Lead HVAC Technician for our Install Crew. You will lead residential change-outs, guide apprentices, and ensure clean, high-quality installs with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years as a lead in Residential HVAC installation.
  • Proficient in HVAC design and installation of ductwork systems.
  • Ability to lead and coach apprentices on projects.
  • EPA 2 Certification Required; Universal preferred; Nate Certification a bonus.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Install heating and air conditioning equipment per company requirements and manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide project leadership with less experienced HVAC install apprentices to complete projects.
  • Ensure safety for self and team members.
  • Works under minimum supervision to install HVAC equipment in the customer's home.
  • Completes all documentation accurately and on time.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, interact with homeowners while completing installations; ensure customers understand how to utilize their newly installed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install heating and air conditioning equipment and other products per company requirements and manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide project leadership with less experienced HVAC install apprentices to complete projects.
  • Ensure safety for self and team members
  • Works under minimum supervision to install HVAC equipment in the customer's home.
  • Completes all documentation accurately and on time.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years as a lead in Residential HVAC installation
  • Proficient in HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
  • Demonstrated ability to build and transition duct work, install indoor/outdoor units
  • Ability to lead and coach apprentices on projects
  • Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings
  • EPA 2 Certification Required Universal is Preferred. Nate Certifiedis a Bonus.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust. Reasonable accommodations may be made to perform essential functions.
