Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking an experienced HVAC technician for commercial retrofit projects. The role focuses on upgrading and replacing building systems to improve energy efficiency and performance.   • EPA Universal certification required.
  • OSHA 10 required.

About This Role

This position focuses on commercial retrofit HVAC work — upgrading and replacing existing building systems including HVAC equipment to improve energy efficiency, meet code requirements, and boost overall performance.

What You'll Do

  • Install modern systems such as Variable Air Volume (VAV) and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) equipment, along with advanced building controls.
  • Run low-voltage control wiring and complete rough-in work.
  • Assist with light sheet metal fabrication and installation as needed.
  • Follow all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
  • Communicate with customers on-site to answer questions and explain work being performed.
