Job summary

Cardinal Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric is seeking an HVAC Install Lead in Wisconsin to supervise residential install crews and deliver high-quality, reliable systems for homeowners.

You will mentor installers, ensure safety and efficiency, and collaborate with service and dispatch teams to provide an exceptional customer experience on every job.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of residential HVAC install experience required.
• Service Titan experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and able to pass an MVR.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of local HVAC codes and industry best practices.
• Advanced understanding of HVAC system design and installation techniques.
• Knowledge of advanced electrical and refrigeration principles.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace residential HVAC systems and related components independently.
• Install garage unit heaters, steam humidifiers, zoning systems, ERV & HRV systems, exhaust fans, and gas furnaces adjustments.
• Mentor junior technicians and apprentices.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds trust and generates referrals.
• Navigate crawlspaces and attics as needed.
• Ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with customer service and dispatch for success.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and job site.
• Participate in training, meetings, and company events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to independently install and replace residential HVAC systems (from basic heating & cooling system to full home automated systems).
• Able to install garage unit heaters, steam humidifiers, zoning systems, ERV & HRV Systems, exhaust fans and set up gas pressure on gas furnaces.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds trust and generates referrals.
• Navigate crawlspaces and attics as needed.
• Ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently.
• Partner with customer service and dispatch teams to ensure success.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and job site.
• Participate in training, meetings, and company events.
• Mentor and train apprentices.
• Complete invoices, timecards, and documentation accurately and on time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 Years of Residential HVAC Install experience required.
• Service Titan experience strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and able to pass an MVR.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of local HVAC codes and industry best practices.
• Advanced understanding of HVAC System design and Installation Techniques.
• Knowledge of advanced electrical and refrigeration principles.
