Job summary

Boothe’s Heating, Air, Plumbing & Electrical in Maryland is seeking HVAC Install Helpers to assist experienced installers, learn hands-on skills, and build a long-term career with a company that values its people.

Competitive pay is $15–$18 per hour base with performance bonuses, plus 2 weeks PTO, 7 holidays, healthcare for you and family, 401(k) with match, disability coverages, and ongoing training for advancement in HVAC licenses and certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Maryland Apprentice License required by start date.
• Ability to work in tight spaces, attics, crawl spaces, garages and on roofs.
• Positive attitude, integrity, and professional representation of the company.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physically able to perform demanding tasks daily.
• Clean criminal background and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of a wide range of HVAC systems across residential homes.
• Move tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
• Connect, adjust, or disconnect wiring, piping, and tubing using proper tools and techniques.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and your team to ensure a smooth install process.
• Maintain accurate invoices, documentation, and time sheets.
• Help keep vehicles, tools, work areas, and job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Support installers with tasks that help build experience for future licenses and certifications.
