Job summary

Elmer's Home Services is seeking a motivated HVAC Install Helper to join our growing team in Grapevine, TX. This entry-level position supports technicians with residential and light commercial HVAC projects, offering hands-on training and opportunities to advance within the HVAC trade.

The role involves assisting with installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance, with emphasis on safety and professional customer service. Prior HVAC experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn HVAC trade.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians and installers with system installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain job sites, following safety standards and procedures.
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment for each project.
• Help with ductwork fabrication, assembly, and sealing.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and start-up of HVAC systems.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and work areas in a clean, organized condition.
• Follow directions from lead technicians and complete tasks efficiently.
• Represent Elmer's Home Services with professionalism and customer service.
