Job summary

Qualifications

• Two or more years of estimating, inside sales, service coordination, or proposal development experience—preferably with a commercial or industrial HVAC or mechanical contractor.
• Ability to translate a technician's recommendation into an accurate proposal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; comfortable with CRM and ERP tools.

Responsibilities

• Review technician recommendations and interpret parts, materials, labor hours, subcontractors, rentals, and other scope elements.
• Produce accurate estimates and professional proposals with a clear scope of work on a timely basis.
• Verify pricing, labor hour, and material assumptions against MOAC pricing standards before proposals go out.
• Assist with proposals and turnover documentation for startups, commissioning, and warranty repairs as directed.
• Communicate to customers the impact of repairs or projects on their schedule and environment.
