Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. is hiring Weekday Production Assemblers for our Staunton, VA location. This on-site role requires reading mechanical prints and routing sheets, operating tools, and ensuring quality of HVAC heat exchanger components.

Starting pay is $24–$28 per hour depending on experience. Shifts run Monday to Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm with a bi-weekly pay schedule. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to wear PPE including hearing protection, safety eyewear, safety footwear.
• Read and interpret mechanical prints and routing sheets.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in demanding physical conditions and environments.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret mechanical prints, schematics, and routing sheets.
• Work with various raw materials and follow safety and quality standards.
• Operate tools and equipment to assemble, braze, test and handle components.
• Use measuring devices and visual inspection to ensure quality.
• Maintain required records.
