Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration seeks an experienced HVAC General Manager to lead operations from our Madison, WI location, spearheading a growing team, driving performance, and delivering HVAC excellence. You will shape strategy, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality across service and installation teams.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC operations with leadership experience, a P&L mindset, and strong communication, with EPA 608 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC operations experience, including 2+ years in management
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, service, and repair practices
• Proven P&L management and business development track record
• EPA 608 Certification preferred; additional HVAC certifications a plus
• Experience with service management software and scheduling tools

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HVAC operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Lead, mentor, and manage HVAC technicians, service teams, and support staff
• Develop and execute business growth strategies to drive revenue and expand market share
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and P&L responsibilities for the HVAC division
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
• Coordinate scheduling, dispatching, and workflow management for service and installation teams

Requirements

• EPA 608 Certification preferred; additional HVAC certifications a plus
• Experience with service management software and scheduling tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred - or equivalent work experience
