Job summary

EMI Services, a subsidiary of TechFlow, is seeking an HVAC General Maintenance Worker to perform general maintenance and repair of HVAC systems on the U.S. Army Fort Jackson base.

Duties include replacing belts, pulleys, wires, switches, and cleaning equipment according to a maintenance checklist. The position offers competitive pay of $22.49 per hour plus a fringe benefit of $5.09 allocated to insurance and 401k.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge in commercial/industrial settings and safety codes.
• Able to use hand tools, measuring devices, and electrical testing equipment.
• EPA Refrigeration license required; valid driver license; U.S. citizenship for base access.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Record maintenance and repair work costs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment in various buildings.
• Order parts and supplies as needed.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and lubricate components.
• Operate welding equipment for joining metal parts.
