Job summary

EMI Services, a subsidiary of TechFlow, seeks an experienced HVAC chiller mechanic for Fort Jackson. This on-base role involves maintaining and repairing air-cooled chillers, pumps, and VRF systems with no travel required.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot refrigeration cycles, and perform preventive maintenance with little supervision. Eligible candidates must have EPA Universal Refrigeration license and a strong safety record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing Trane, Carrier, and York chillers and cooling towers.
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License.
• HVAC I course or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work on air-cooled chillers, pumps and water systems, and VRF systems.
• Automated building controls: test input & output for sensors/activators.
• Work on split package, residential, light commercial units incl. minisplits and AHU.
• Use a multimeter to check voltage.
• Torch brazing for repairs.
• Prepare work orders and cost estimates.
• Train technicians and evaluate performance.
