Job summary
KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to service commercial and industrial clients in Kalamazoo. This full-time role focuses on field diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance with local territory assignments.
Qualified candidates have 4+ years of hands-on HVAC experience and EPA Universal Certification. The position offers paid in-house training, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC service experience.
- EPA Universal Certification is required.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Professionalism and top-tier customer service on-site.
- Experience with chillers/boilers/hydronic systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, chillers, and boilers.
- Perform preventive maintenance to improve efficiency and longevity.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Document service activity with handheld devices.
- Maintain organized service vehicles, tools, and materials.
- Communicate professionally with clients and teammates on-site.
