Job summary

Capstone Mechanical, LP. seeks an HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and boiler systems.

You will test data, troubleshoot equipment, and provide recommendations to customers to ensure safe operation and lifecycle performance. The role requires high school diploma and at least 5 years of HVAC operation, maintenance, and repair experience, with strong diagnostic and electrical knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of documentable HVAC operation, maintenance and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs to pump seals, bearing, etc.
• Inspect and test systems to verify compliance or locate malfunctions.
• Determine customer concerns with HVAC and boiler systems.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Discuss malfunctions with customers to isolate problems or verify resolution.
• Record faults and report on work orders and materials.
• Test pipes for leaks and adjust controls to manufacturer specifications.
• Install/maintain thermostats, humidistats, and timers.
• Assemble and install duct work or chassis parts as needed.
• Study blueprints and specs to ensure proper installation.
