Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Field HVAC Maintenance Specialist to serve as the technical lead for diagnosing complex HVAC issues and commissioning systems for both residential and commercial clients.

You will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, startups, and on-call support, ensuring reliable climate control while communicating findings and recommendations clearly to customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Proven field experience in HVAC service, repair, and diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Current EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal skills with professional customer communication.
• Capability to manage technical tasks independently while contributing to team objectives.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on HVAC equipment to ensure peak operational efficiency.
• Oversee commissioning and startup of heating and cooling systems to meet performance standards.
• Deliver exceptional client experiences by communicating technical findings and providing recommendations for system improvements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely emergency support.
• Coordinate with internal teams to streamline project workflows and achieve high-quality installations and repairs.
