Accelera in Washington seeks a Field Service Specialist for Commercial HVAC and Chiller Systems to ensure peak performance of complex climate control infrastructure. You will perform start-up, commissioning, and on-site maintenance for client sites nationwide.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues from schematics, optimize system efficiency, and advise clients on upgrades while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service or maintenance.
• Ability to interpret wiring schematics and diagnose electrical faults.
• Deep understanding of refrigeration cycle and thermodynamics.
• EPA Type 1 & 2 Refrigerant Certification current.
• Strong client communication and professional interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver\'s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive start-up and commissioning procedures for commercial HVAC and chiller systems to guarantee optimal functionality.
• Drive system longevity by performing proactive maintenance and precision diagnostic evaluations.
• Resolve complex mechanical and electrical failures, including refrigerant circuit issues and control system malfunctions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address post-installation technical challenges and ensure seamless project handoffs.
• Maintain detailed service documentation to track system health, parts utilization, and performance adjustments.
• Act as a technical advisor to clients, providing clear insights into system efficiency and necessary upgrades.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance across all job sites.
