Job summary

ServiceX M.E.P. in Linthicum, MD seeks a hands-on HVAC Service Supervisor to support technicians, handle advanced diagnostics, and ensure quality work on service calls.

The role spends considerable time in the field, mentoring technicians, coordinating with dispatch, and enforcing OSHA safety standards across sites. HVAC licenses/certifications are strongly preferred, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on commercial HVAC service experience.
• Strong diagnostic and commissioning skills for HVAC systems.
• Mentoring or supervising technicians is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field support to HVAC technicians on maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment startups.
• Lead advanced diagnostics on complex issues across commercial HVAC systems.
• Deliver on-the-job coaching and training to technicians to improve skills and efficiency.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure standards are met and best practices followed.
• Coordinate scheduling with dispatch and prioritize work orders for timely completion.
• Review work orders for completeness and accuracy before/after jobs.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct field safety audits.
• Verify work complies with HVAC regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate with customers regarding technical issues and onsite observations.
• Represent the company with professionalism and technical authority.
• Ensure technicians have tools, materials, and equipment for each job.
• Assist with inventory management and parts ordering.
