Job summary

Polk Mechanical Company LLC is seeking an HVAC Service Field Supervisor to lead the Dallas/Ft. Worth Service Department. You will supervise technicians, plan labor, collaborate with sales on equipment scope, and ensure timely install and commissioning while meeting customer expectations.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, profitability awareness, and cross-functional coordination with procurement and operations to deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of field service management or project management experience.
• Strong technical ability in HVAC equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficient use of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to develop relationships with the sales department, customers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, manage, coach and train service technicians
• Manage workload, overtime, and labor resource planning
• Work with sales teams on sales and rental equipment, defining equipment and service scope with customers
• Monitor cost and overall profitability of projects
• Work with procurement to prepare equipment purchase orders, installation and parts lists, and coordinate shipment and installation
• Supervise mechanical and electrical installation, monitor and enforce scope, and manage customer expectations
• Supervise start-up and commissioning of equipment
• Obtain inspection sign-off and customer sign-off, and monitor final invoicing preparation
