Job summary

Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning in Frederick, MD is seeking a seasoned field supervisor to lead HVAC installation teams. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate with the scheduling team, and ensure readiness for rough-in and trim installations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes project coordination across builders, accurate change orders, and timely communications.

Qualifications

3+ years HVAC installation experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Proven track record of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.

Responsibilities

Manages a group of sub-contractor craftsmen (installers and helpers).
Walk jobs regularly and verifies readiness for both HVAC rough-in and HVAC trim installations.
Coordinates installation dates with scheduling team and ensures jobs are ready for installation.
Review sub-contractor invoices and approve after work is complete per phase.
Coordinates and completes paperwork for billable change orders found in the field.
Builds rapport and fosters long-term relationships with builder superintendents.
Ensures employees attend required training and safety policies are followed.
