Job summary

Asbury Solomons, part of Asbury Communities, Inc., seeks a full-time maintenance technician to perform data collection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems, heat pumps, furnaces and related building services.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with on-call rotation about every 10 weeks; compensation is $20.50 per hour. Requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license and at least three years’ maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs data collection, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment including fan coil units, air handlers, VAV controllers, pumps, and fans.
• Performs maintenance on cottage heat pumps and furnaces.
• Maintains systems such as laundry, commercial kitchen equipment, domestic water, fire protection and alarms; assists with work orders as directed.
• Assists Plant Operations Manager with heating, boiler and chiller equipment.
• Uses CMMS to document work orders and resolutions.
