Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee HVAC equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate repairs to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. This role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems, with a focus on reliability and regulatory compliance.

The position emphasizes teamwork with other departments, adherence to safety standards, and upkeep of documentation and records to support quality care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of maintenance experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and finishing maintenance.
• Service HVAC equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, repair electrical/plumbing systems per code and NEC guidelines.
• Prepare and complete work orders within 24–48 hours and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
