Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA refrigerant certification preferred but not required.
• HVAC certification preferred but not required.
• Boiler Operator License and Steam Engineer License a plus but not required.
• Three years of maintenance experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety, EPA, and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the internet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and finishing tasks.
• Maintains HVAC equipment through preventative maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical and plumbing systems per local codes and NEC.
• Documents work orders and maintains accurate records for inspections.
• Works with other departments to ensure resident safety and comfort.
