Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee HVAC equipment, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance across our senior living community. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot components, and support staff to keep facilities clean, safe, and comfortable for residents and visitors.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and hands-on experience with HVAC systems, boilers, and building systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current certification to handle refrigerants a plus but not required.
Current HVAC certification a plus but not required.
Current Boiler Operator License and Steam Engineer License a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and finishing, and maintenance on facilities, equipment, grounds, etc.
Services HVAC equipment through preventive maintenance schedules and cycles.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, pumps, motors, and electrical/plumbing systems.
Coordinate with supervisor for supply and equipment needs and attend to unscheduled maintenance tasks.
Maintain readiness for surveys by regulatory bodies and ensure safety and cleanliness across the community.
Assist with coordinating maintenance services with other departments and support security duties as needed.
