Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance across our facilities in Ohio. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure safety and compliance in daily operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma, relevant certifications as a plus, and at least three years in maintenance. Strong knowledge of building systems and safety standards is essential, with a valid driver's license and willingness to

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current certification to handle refrigerants a plus.
Current HVAC certification a plus.
Boiler/Steam licenses a plus.
Three years experience in a maintenance position.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, compressors and generators, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Knowledge of building codes, safety, EPA, and OSHA regulations preferred.
Experience reading blueprints preferred.
Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the internet preferred.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform routine HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and finishing tasks.
Service HVAC equipment through preventative maintenance schedules and maintenance cycles.
Troubleshoot, provide maintenance, and repairs of HVAC, pumps, motors, electrical and plumbing systems.
Inform supervisor of supply and/or equipment needs.
Complete assigned work orders within 24-48 hours.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
May coordinate maintenance services with other departments.
Serve as back-up to security personnel and perform rounds and reports as needed.
