Valley of the Sun YMCA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support maintenance at one or more branches, performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and vendor coordination to keep facilities safe and well‑equipped.
The role requires 2 years of facilities maintenance experience, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication with staff and vendors; the team emphasizes safety, cost control, and the YMCA mission.
The Facilities Maintenance Technician may be responsible for the maintenance of one or multiple branch locations and provide technical knowledge to the building operations and maintenance. The Maintenance Technician will complete tasks associated with the full operation of the YMCA facility and equipment. This position is part of a team that oversees and completes major projects, assisting with vendor management, recommending vendors, and coordinating vendor quotes. This position ensures that our YMCA facilities are high quality and properly maintained and operated within budget.
