Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. seeks an HVAC Estimator to drive project estimates across plan-spec and design-build opportunities.

You will partner with design, project development, purchasing and construction teams from initial review through turnover, developing accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs for diverse projects. Ideal candidates have 2–10 years of estimating experience, strong take-off and pricing skills, and the ability to balance deadlines, supplier relationships, and

Strong take-off and pricing skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and bids.

Responsibilities

Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs for estimates.
Review drawings, specs, and bid documents to define HVAC scope and risks.
Perform quantity takeoffs for equipment, ductwork, piping, insulation, and controls.
Solicit and evaluate vendor/subcontractor proposals for coverage and qualifications.
Prepare bid clarifications, exclusions, alternates, and VE options.
Price conceptual and design-build solutions with the design team.
Participate in bid reviews and help set pricing strategy with preconstruction leadership.
Coordinate with project managers and field leaders to validate labor assumptions.
