Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Equipment Systems Application Engineer in Lynnfield, MA. The role supports pre- and post-sales activities, develops equipment proposals, and coordinates with project teams to ensure profitable, on-time project execution.

You will work with pre‑sales selections, prepare submittals, and manage scope of supply. A bachelor’s in engineering and proficiency with CAD/Office tools are required, with AutoCAD preferred and a strong team mindset expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with professionalism and persistence.
• AutoCAD experience preferred; proficiency with MS Office, Visio, and Adobe Writer are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and coordination support to the execution of HVAC equipment projects.
• Prepare customer proposals, takeoffs, and cost estimates with input from Sales.
• Review drawings and specifications; generate engineered submittals and presentations.
• Coordinate project schedules, track backlogs, and ensure on-time project completion.
