Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems. You will perform proactive testing and scheduled maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

Responsibilities include assigning tasks, installing and maintaining HVAC control systems, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Strong math, organizational skills, and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members. Ensure all duties are done in a timely manner.
• Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for modifications.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information and coach others while sharing knowledge.
