Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems. You will conduct proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.

The role sits within Engineering and Technical Services, focusing on preventive maintenance, support, and skilled repairs across building HVAC equipment. Prior supervision experience is preferred for leadership tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
• Install, repair, and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems for building HVAC equipment.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC equipment for proper operation and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and propose corrective actions.
• Explain complex information clearly to stakeholders.
