Job summary

Openwork is seeking an HVAC Electrical Wiring Assembler in Stafford, TX. The role involves installing and wiring components in HVAC equipment, routing wires, and assembling control panels. You will read schematics, use test equipment, and support troubleshooting to ensure quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has hands-on wiring experience, the ability to read electrical diagrams, and a strong attention to detail in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous electrical assembly or wiring experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Basic understanding of AC/DC electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire electrical components in HVAC equipment.
• Route, secure, label, and terminate wires, harnesses, and cables.
• Install relays, transformers, circuit breakers, sensors, control boards, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and enclosures.
• Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires.
• Read schematics and wiring diagrams; perform basic electrical testing.
• Conduct continuity checks and verify wiring accuracy.
• Assist with troubleshooting and document production processes.
