Staffmark is hiring an Electrical Wiring Assembler in Dallas, TX to build wiring subassemblies for low‑voltage switchgear projects. The role offers a steady daytime schedule and competitive pay at $19.50 per hour.

You will read orders, follow procedures, and assemble wires with care, using standard tools and PPE. No prior experience required, though basic mechanical skills and safety awareness help you succeed on this team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years wiring experience or completion of a vocational program.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, wiring diagrams.
• Strong reading‑comprehension skills.
• Basic mathematical skills for technical measurements.
• Familiarity with tape measures, impact drills, wire crimpers, and related tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety practices.
• Ability to distinguish between colored wires, tabs, and components.
• Manual dexterity and excellent hand‑eye coordination.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to wear PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection).

Responsibilities

• Manufacture wiring subassemblies for low‑voltage switchgear projects.
• Read and follow work orders, manufacturing procedures, and work instructions.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, prints, and technical specifications.
• Crimp, strip, cut, pull, and bundle wires per project plans.
• Label and mark wires accurately.
• Connect prepared wires to electrical components.
• Route wires and cables neatly.
• Inspect wires, connections, and components for quality.
• Verify completed assemblies meet specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Follow all production and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
• Strong reading‑comprehension skills
