Job summary

NOV is seeking a facilities technician at our Conroe location to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment and electrical systems. You will work with the maintenance team to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance across the facility.

The role requires 5–8 years in a facilities environment, strong knowledge of LOTO and blueprints, and CMMS experience. Salary is commensurate with experience; on-site work at Conroe Park West.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 5–8 years experience in facilities with HVAC and electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures, LOTO.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• CMMS experience and ability to handle emergency maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment (chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, exhaust fans).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems: lighting, panels, motors, controls, wiring (up to 480V).
• Monitor building systems and ensure safety and operational standards.
• Support general facility upkeep: plumbing, lighting, doors, carpentry, flooring.
• Assist in facility inspections and audits for safety and environmental compliance.
