Job summary

Design Temp of Florida Inc. is seeking a full-time dispatcher for its service department in Tampa. You will schedule service calls, dispatch technicians, debrief after calls, and maintain clear communication with customers and field staff.

You will also manage parts orders, repairs scheduling, invoicing, and quoting while ensuring confidential handling of correspondence and data accuracy in a dynamic HVAC environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years dispatching experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• General knowledge and background in the HVAC industry
• Ability to multi task and stay organized
• Accurately enter data into the computer
• Adaptability to changes and unexpected events

Responsibilities

• Schedule service calls and dispatch service technicians
• Track technicians to ensure efficiency
• Debrief technicians after each call
• Communicate with customers, representatives, and field support staff

Scheduling and tracking service technicians to insure they are operating effectively and efficiently.

Debrief technicians after every call.

Communicate effectively with customers and their representatives as well as field support staff.

Order parts and schedule repairs with customers and technicians.

Complete all billing and invoicing for the service department.

Compose and send out repair quotes as needed.

Follow up with customers after service is performed or estimate is provided.
