Job summary

Cool Care Heating, Air, Plumbing and Refrigeration in Columbia, SC, seeks an experienced HVAC Service Dispatcher – Customer Service Specialist to be the first point of contact for customers and to support our field technicians. You will manage schedules, dispatch technicians, and handle warranties and rebates, ensuring smooth daily operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years in dispatch or scheduling, plus strong computer and service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience in dispatching or schedule coordinating.
• Advanced computer and customer service skills.
• Impeccable phone etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• HVAC knowledge preferred.
• Scheduling experience for HVAC/Plumbers/Electricians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls.
• Maintain the Service Technicians daily schedules.
• Dispatching technicians to service calls.
• Communicating with homeowners and service techs.
• Scheduling annual maintenance.
• Processing equipment warranties and rebates.
• Data entry and filing.
• Maintaining maintenance contract database.
• Maintain customer database with current information in Service Titan.
• Clear and concise communications with managers, employees, and customers.
