Job summary

MAHLE seeks an HVAC Design & Product Engineering Intern in Farmington Hills, MI to assist with product engineering tasks, learn HVAC module design, and contribute to tests and data analysis.

The role involves using MAHLE systems, DFMEA concepts, and may require travel to manufacturing plants or customer sites. Apply if pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree and have CAD/CAE exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; role open Freshman or higher.
• CAD, CAE, Validation - Testing, Analysis & report creation.
• Expereince or internship in relevant coursework.

Responsibilities

• Learn & use MAHLE systems to work on Product Engineering tasks, submitting VAMAS requests, test set-ups, analyzing data and generating reports.
• Learn about HVAC module design from quality aspects, starting with drawings, DFMEA, DRBFM, etc.
• If opportunity arises, help with tasks in manufacturing plants or customer sites (travel).
• Participate and run HVAC module level tests.
• Get involved in problem solving using tools like 5 whys, fishbone, fault tree.
