MAHLE in Lockport, NY invites an entry-level Electrical Engineering Intern to support our Compressor Product Engineering Group in developing automotive air conditioning compressor designs for global vehicle applications.

You will participate in all phases of product development, including design, prototype builds, testing, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with teams across the organization. This part-time internship offers hands-on experience and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving mindset.
• Clear written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage time across multiple projects.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic report preparation.
• Willingness to perform diverse development tasks.

Responsabilités

• Support product development in MAHLE eCompressor group.
• Assist with prototype builds, testing, and data analysis.
• Contribute to sensor integration and PCB layout discussions.
• Help improve electronics, motor thermal management, and benchmarking.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams for program launches.
