Job summary

CannonDesign in Denver is seeking a student intern to join our multi‑disciplinary team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed engineer on HVAC design tasks and BIM modeling for various markets including education, healthcare, and commercial.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in and working toward a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist under licensed engineer in uncomplicated HVAC design for buildings.
• Model HVAC systems in Revit/BIM from Schematic Design to Construction Administration.
• Review and markup shop drawings under supervision.
• Suggest improvements to process, quality, and coordination.
• Possible site visits to verify conditions and observe construction progress.
