Job summary

Selectek, Inc seeks a licensed Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC design on commercial and industrial projects in Atlanta. The role requires a PE license or eligibility within six months, and 3–5+ years of HVAC design experience using AutoCAD and Revit.

You will apply Carrier HAP or Trane TRACE and ensure compliance with ASHRAE and local codes, while managing multiple projects and deadlines with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• PE license in or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 3-5+ years HVAC design experience in commercial and/or light/heavy industrial projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design software (e.g., Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE).
• Working knowledge of mechanical codes, ASHRAE standards, and local/state building codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Minimal Travel (as needed) to brownfield and greenfield job sites.
