Job summary

Newcomb & Boyd in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design building HVAC systems for a variety of facilities. You will work on 2D/3D documentation using Revit and collaborate with in-house disciplines, clients, and owners.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of HVAC consulting experience, strong knowledge of large-scale systems, and a PE license with LEED AP preferred. The role offers a hybrid schedule, growth opportunities, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–10 years of HVAC consulting experience.
• Proven ability to design and manage large building HVAC systems.
• Possession of PE preferred; LEED AP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design of complex HVAC systems for projects.
• Prepare 2D/3D construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Design automatic temperature control systems with sequences and diagrams.
• Prepare energy modeling studies for LEED certification.
• Coordinate design with in-house disciplines, architects, and owners.
• Plan project production processes.
• Perform site visits, submittal reviews, and contractor support.
