Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II in Atlanta, GA to work on HVAC design for government and commercial buildings. You will perform portions of assignments under supervision and develop heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems using standard industry tools.

This role requires a BA/BS in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering and experience with AutoCAD and Revit, plus HVAC load calculations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering plus two years of relevant experience in mechanical design of HVAC systems for buildings
• US Citizenship is required due to client requirements
• AutoCAD and Revit experience
• Experience in performing building HVAC load calculations (IES, Trane Trace, or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Performs specific portions of broader assignments under supervision
• Gathers and correlates engineering data using defined procedures
• Develops heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system designs for buildings
• Attends project meetings with internal teams and clients
