Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Dallas, TX to design and implement HVAC systems for a range of buildings. You will lead load calculations, energy modeling, and develop detailed 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

Collaboration with clients, architects, and other engineers is essential. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of HVAC experience, and a PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with HVAC focus.
• Experience with restaurant, retail, hospitality, commercial or entertainment venues preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing HVAC design and implementation for various building types to meet specs and standards.
• Conducting detailed load calculations and energy modeling for HVAC systems.
• Reviewing design plans and construction documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Leading HVAC projects: planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with team and stakeholders.
• Using AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed 2D/3D models and drawings.
• Troubleshooting and resolving HVAC design/installation issues.
• Keeping up to date with HVAC technologies and trends and applying them as appropriate.
• Collaborating with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
