Job summary

Sanvi Business Solutions invites applications for a HVAC Design Engineer in Guindy, Chennai. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in HVAC design for commercial, hospital, or IT park projects and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

The candidate should have knowledge of HAP load calculations per ASHRAE and be capable of equipment selection for AHU, FCU, chillers, and VRF/VRV systems. ISHRAE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech Mechanical or Diploma Mechanical with HVAC certification.
• Min 2 years in HVAC design for commercial / hospital / IT park projects.
• Strong knowledge of psychrometrics, duct design, pipe sizing, static pressure calculations.
• Must be based in Chennai – Guindy/Velachery/Saidapet/Alandur preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting & piping drawings.
• Shop & GFC drawings in AutoCAD & Revit MEP.
• Perform cooling / heating load calculations - HAP / E20 as per ASHRAE.
• Equipment selection - AHU, FCU, Chillers, VRF / VRV, Pumps, Fans.
• Prepare BOQ, technical submittals & material take-offs for tenders.
• Coordinate with project & site teams for design clarifications & site issues.
• Ensure compliance with NBC, ISHRAE, ASHRAE & local codes.
• Review vendor drawings & support procurement.

Leading HVAC Projects Company handling Commercial, Industrial, Hospital & IT Park projects is hiring a HVAC Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting & piping drawings
• Shop & GFC drawings in AutoCAD & Revit MEP
