Sanvi Business Solutions is seeking a Site Execution HVAC Engineer for projects in and around Chennai. The role focuses on field installation, testing, and commissioning of VRF/VRV systems, chillers, AHU/FCU, and associated ducting and piping.

You will read and interpret HVAC layouts, coordinate with design and civil/electrical teams, and ensure quality and safety on site. The candidate should have 4–5 years of HVAC site experience and be based in Chennai, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering as required.
Strong HVAC knowledge and site execution experience.
Ability to read HVAC layouts and coordinate with design teams.

Responsibilities

Supervise installation of VRF/VRV, chillers, AHU/FCU, pumps and ducts.
Read HVAC layouts and resolve clashes with Civil/Electrical teams.
Conduct testing, balancing and commissioning with client or consultant.
Ensure quality per SMACNA/ASHRAE and apply safety protocols.
Raise material indents and coordinate with vendors.
Troubleshoot site issues like airflow, vibration and controls.
Maintain site records, DPRs, inspection requests, and as-built drawings.
Attend client meetings and close snag points for handover.

Location: Guindy Sites across Chennai | Exp: 4-5 Years | Salary: Rs. 35,000 - 40,000

Industry: HVAC / MEP - Commercial & Industrial Projects | Timing: Mon-Sat, 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Leading HVAC Projects Company is hiring a Site-Oriented HVAC Engineer to execute premium projects across Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise installation of VRF/VRV, Chillers, AHU, FCU, Pumps, Cooling Towers, Ducting, Piping & Insulation as per drawings
Read & interpret HVAC layouts, SLD, schematics - Coordinate with design team & resolve clashes with Civil / Electrical
Testing & Commissioning - Pressure testing, duct leakage test, air & water balancing, system commissioning with client / consultant
Ensure quality as per SMACNA / ASHRAE & implement site safety protocols
Raise material indents, check site deliveries & coordinate with vendors
Troubleshoot site issues - cooling, airflow, noise, vibration & controls
Maintain DPR, site photos, inspection requests, checklists & as-built drawings
Attend client / consultant meetings & close snag points for handover

Mandatory Requirements

B.E / http://B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical - Mechanical Must
4-5 years in HVAC contracting company - Site Execution Mandatory - VRF / VRV or Chiller must
Strong knowledge of heat load, duct design, pipe sizing, psychrometry & MEP coordination
Software: AutoCAD for drawing review, MS Excel - HAP / Trace 700 is a plus
Familiar with ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISHRAE, NBC standards
Two-wheeler Mandatory - Willing to travel to sites across Chennai from Guindy base
Must be based in Chennai - South Chennai preferred
