Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling, based in Grafton, Wisconsin, is seeking an HVAC Design Engineer/Estimator to design, coordinate, and execute HVAC systems for commercial and multifamily projects. The role offers on-site work from our Grafton office and collaboration with Project Managers, engineers, and field teams to deliver code-compliant, efficient designs.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of HVAC design experience, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/Revit), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of HVAC design experience.
• PE certification or pursuing PE.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and codes.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems with load calculations and equipment layouts.
• Develop construction documents, drawings, and specs.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers; support plan-spec and design-build projects.
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs; conduct site visits
