Job summary

A Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in HVAC is needed at Energy Jobline ZR to join a growing Architecture and Engineering firm. You will focus on mechanical design for small to medium commercial projects, including restaurants and retail spaces, delivering design and production work within small teams.

Reporting to a Senior Engineer, you will perform heat load calculations, prepare construction documents, coordinate with senior staff, and balance deadlines and budgets while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
• EIT certification.
• Proficient in HVAC system design and engineering calculations.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2010 or newer.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• HVAC system design, including heat load calculations, system layout, and duct sizing.
• Prepare technical construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Conduct engineering calculations to support system designs.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to execute assigned project duties effectively.
• Balance project deadlines and budgets while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in project coordination and limited project management activities.
