Job summary

Career Collective seeks a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC systems and ductwork for commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects, delivering drawings and specifications.

Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of HVAC design experience, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and have the ability to coordinate across disciplines; EIT/PE preferred; visa not sponsored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of HVAC/Mechanical Design experience on commercial, mixed-use, or mission-critical projects preferred.
• EIT or PE license highly preferred; non-licensed considered for Designer positions.
• Experience using Revit and AutoCAD is required.
• Experience using Trane Trace, Trace 700, and/or Carrier HAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• HVAC and ductwork design.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Prepare heating, ventilation, and air conditioning load calculations.
• Work on multiple projects including commercial, retail, healthcare, data center and more.
• Review and answer RFIs, review shop drawings, participate in field observations, and write reports.
• Collaborate with other disciplines such as architecture, electrical, civil, etc.
