Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Mid-Level to Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our West Coast team. The role focuses on HVAC design across healthcare, commercial, and specialized facilities, from concept to construction coordination.

You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to deliver safe, energy-efficient systems. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of HVAC design experience, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and proficiency with Revit MEP and energy modeling tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC design for commercial projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; PE license strongly preferred.
• Experience with complex HVAC systems including AHUs, hydronic systems, central plants.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP.
• Experience with load and energy modeling software (Trace, HAP, eQuest, EnergyPro, EnergyPlus).
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC design-build activities from concept through construction coordination.
• Collaborate with engineers, preconstruction, project managers, and field teams to deliver safe, energy-efficient mechanical systems.
• Work across sectors including healthcare, high-rise, entertainment, transportation, biotech, and laboratories.
