Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/HVAC Engineer with 2–5 years of experience for a growing Central New Jersey MEP firm. The role focuses on designing HVAC systems for commercial and institutional projects and coordinating with architects.

Responsibilities include load calculations, equipment selection, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit. A BS in Mechanical Engineering is required, with EIT/FE or PE a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of HVAC/MEP design experience.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical codes.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for commercial, institutional, and other building projects
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing
• Prepare HVAC plans, layouts, specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate designs with architects and other MEP disciplines
• Assist with field surveys, construction administration, and project coordination
• Utilize AutoCAD and/or Revit
